The Sport Club Corinthians Alagoas is a sports organization that emerged in 1991 as a professional club in the city of Maceió, Alagoas state, and its official colors white, black and red.
The main objective since its foundation is the discovery of talented young players, then projecting them into the national and international football. The example is that since 1991 their junior teams and youth football’s hegemony in the state, with the first being hepta champion, and second octacampeão anything seen in the youth football Alagoas. Forming athletes since its Reality, CT Eurico Beltran, the tricolor held a serious job with a basic technical committee level by improving the qualities of each player.
In 1995 the club participated in the Championship Division 2 of Alagoas, where he finished as the undefeated champion, but gave up its participation in the 1st Division of professionals. In 1997, once again, was the undefeated champion of the 2nd Division of professionals vying for today the 1st Division in Alagoas. Besides being the first team in the state to play an international competition, I was the champion of Winter Tournament, held in Kumanoto and Yatsushiro (Japan). In 1992 he participated in the Brazilian Championship Series C four times: 2000, 2001, 2003 and 2004.
Corinthians Alagoas began its participation in the Copa São Paulo de Futebol Junior 2000 and 2004 reached the round of the competition, a unique position among the clubs of Alagoas. Participates annually, with the same category Alagoas Cup, joining clubs in the Northeast and other regions.
Professional Titles
The year 2002 was also useful in the professional, when he managed to win the first round Alagoas League 1st division, ensuring their participation in the Brazilian 2003 (Series C) and in the Brazil Cup. Vying for the Tournament Selection in the Northeast, Corinthians Alagoas won his first professional title in the 1st Division, becoming a member of the group of prominent teams in the Northeast.
In 2004, beginning a great rivalry with Coruripe, the city of the same name, Corinthians made a flawless campaign, being the 1st. time state champion in Division 1, going to have a high level opponent for the other rivals, entering the list of teams also fighting for the title of professional football.
